Editing My Page on Seo Árainn Mhór

You've got your page - now what do you do? You'll need to set up the basics before you appear in the app. From your login screen, you'll be able to click the edit button. Please note if you're still stuck in PENDING, you can reach out to us on: hello@seoarainnmhor.com

The Basics

The basics of the app are your tagline and your description. Your tagline should be a short intro sentence to grab people's attention, it'll appear at the top of your page in the app.

Your description is where you can share all the details of your brand, business or group. The more exciting and interesting you wish to make it, the better!

Once you've completed this form, in Bearla in Gaeilge you can click "Save".

Contact Details

The contact details for the app is located just underneath the basics (just scroll down). You can complete as many or as few of these as you like but we recommend at least 1 of them. We'll include your phone number from your request, but you can change this at any time.

It's important to note, most of these pages should be in a URL format. For example your facebook page could be @seoarrainnmhor, but you should use the full address: https://www.facebook.com/seoarainnmhor/ This will ensure that your facebook opens in the facebook app. The same is true for Airbnb, Snapchat etc, etc.

Custom Contact

There's the option to include a custom link with a custom label if you wish. This link should be in URL format so that it can open correctly in a browser.

You can select your top two choices for contact methods at the top of this section. These buttons will appear at the top of you page in the app.

Once complete hit save.

Photos

You have two main photos in the app, a profile photo and a cover photo. Your profile photo should fit in a square and your cover photo will always be cropped to a landscape view.

If you need help with your images you can use something like Canva to edit / update your photo.

If you don't have any photos, you can choose a brand colour, you'll see that colour instead of a blank space for your cover photo.

Location

If your business or group has a location, you can add it here, it'll appear on the map inside the Seo Árainn Mhór app. You'll be able add your location here, you can include an address, postcode and drag and drop the pin on the map too.

If you want to switch off your location, you can turn the location switch off and you won't see any maps on your page OR appear inside the map.

That's it! That's all your basic details. You can save the location and publish your page if you wish but we recommend that you include your page times too.
